Actress Sandra Bullock Says Her Children Turned Her Into A J.Cole Fan: ‘I Mean, Wooo, He’s Good!’

Sandra Bullock is giving her kids credit for expanding her playlist after they introduced her to the music of J. Cole.

The Oscar-winning actress recently appeared on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast, where she was asked to name an artist her children helped put on her radar. Bullock didn’t hesitate before giving the North Carolina rapper his props.

“J. Cole. I mean, wooo, he’s good,” Bullock said.

Her newfound appreciation for Cole comes with a funny connection, since the rapper has already worked Bullock into his own music.

On his song “cLOUDS,” Cole name-dropped the actress while referencing two of her biggest films, “Speed” and “Gravity.”

“I’m Sandra Bullock, either proceed with speed or don’t breathe,” Cole rapped.

The bar plays on the titles and plots of the two movies, giving Bullock another unexpected link to hip-hop now that her children have officially made her a listener.

Bullock is the mother of two children, Louis and Laila, and has generally kept their lives private while occasionally opening up about motherhood and raising her family.
